📖 Introduction

Initializing inventory management system...

Quick Explanation On What This Is: This inventory management system is for hoarders. If you have managed to exceed your stash limit and need a bit of help organising what to sell, what to recycle and what to keep, this is for you.

Quick Explanation On How It Works: You enter the details of what you have in your stash, and it produces a worksheet that you can reference while you sort out your stash. It CAN be used for those who want to quickly reference what they want to keep, sell, or recycle from their backpack after each raid. But it is primarily for big-time hoarders.

Welcome, Raider! If you're reading this, you're probably drowning in 800+ items with a 219-slot stash limit, wondering what to keep, what to sell, and what to recycle. You're not alone.. Or, perhaps your inventory is in order and you just need a reminder on what you need to keep, sell or recycle. This planner will help!

This guide provides two powerful tools:

  1. The Inventory Tracker - An HTML-based app that helps you manage your current inventory
  2. The Crafting Planner - A comprehensive materials list showing exactly what to keep for YOUR crafting goals

Both tools were created by D.Ranger-Holt (The Arc Raider Old Timer) to help you survive the inventory management nightmare and focus on what matters: getting loot and staying alive.

🔧 Understanding the Crafting Planner

Loading crafting database...

The Crafting Planner (included in the download) is your master reference for what materials to keep based on YOUR specific crafting goals.

Material Rarity Guide:

  • 🟢 Basic Materials (Common) - Keep a good stock (100-200)
  • 🟡 Uncommon Materials (Green) - Keep all you find
  • 🔵 Rare Materials (Blue) - NEVER recycle these!
  • 🟣 Epic Materials (Purple) - ARC drops - absolutely critical!

⚠️ Critical Items with Double Uses:

These items are needed for BOTH quests AND workshop upgrades:

  • Hornet Driver - Need 20 total (15 for Quest 2/5 + 5 for Gear Bench 2)
  • Tick Pod - Need 23 total (15 for Quest 1/5 + 8 for Medical Lab 2)
  • Pop Trigger - Need 20 total (15 for Quest 1/5 + 5 for Explosives Station 2)
  • Leaper Pulse Unit - Need 14 total (10 for Quest 3/5 + 4 for Utility Station 3)
  • Bastion Cell - Need 11 total (5 for Quest 3/5 + 6 for Gear Bench 3)

Don't accidentally use all on quests and have none left for upgrades!

💡 Pro Tips for Success

Accessing veteran knowledge database...

Inventory Management:

  • Use "Merge Stacks" in-game to consolidate ammo/consumables
  • Don't hoard ammo - Sell excess, craft when needed
  • Store attachments ON guns - Saves inventory slots
  • Max stash is 280 slots (upgrade with coins)

Crafting Strategy:

  • Refiner FIRST - Upgrade to Level 2 ASAP for Advanced Components
  • Workshop upgrades give passive benefits - They're not just for crafting!
  • Track materials in-game - Use the "Track Resources" button on recipes
  • Blueprints are permanent - Once learned, you can craft unlimited

🚨 Common Mistakes to Avoid:

  • ❌ Selling quest items - Always check the ⚠️ warning!
  • ❌ Recycling rare materials - Keep ALL purple/blue items!
  • ❌ Salvaging in-raid - Always recycle in Speranza for full value!
  • ❌ Not backing up tracker data - Click "Backup Data" regularly!
  • ❌ Hoarding level 1 guns - Recycle them for gun parts!

🎯 Example Workflow

Running simulation...

Let's say you have 829 items and need to get down to 219:

Day 1: Data Entry

  1. Open the tracker
  2. Use bulk import with your item list
  3. Review quest item warnings
  4. Mark all quest items as KEEP

Day 2: Sort Materials

  1. Filter by "Recommendation: QUEST" → Mark all KEEP
  2. Filter by "Recommendation: KEEP" → Mark all KEEP
  3. Filter by "Recommendation: Sell" → Review and mark SELL
  4. Filter by "Rarity: Epic" → Mark ALL as KEEP

Day 3: Clean Up

  1. Filter by "Category: Valuables" → Mark trinkets as SELL
  2. Filter by items you don't need → Mark RECYCLE
  3. Export your decisions to a file

Day 4: Execute In-Game

  1. Open exported plan file
  2. Go to vendors → Sell everything marked SELL
  3. Go to Refinery → Recycle everything marked RECYCLE
  4. Use "Merge Stacks" for remaining items
  5. Enjoy your clean, organized stash!

🆘 Troubleshooting

Diagnosing system errors...

Q: "I still can't get to some of my items to sell or recycle them"

A: Embark locks off items, when you are over your stash. We can't fix that unfortunately. Best solution is to check what you can access, and work through that with your export plan list. This will eventually free up the remaining items.

Q: "My data disappeared!"

A: Data saves in your browser's localStorage. If you cleared browser data, it's gone. Always use "Backup Data" to create JSON files!

Q: "Bulk import isn't working"

A: Check format: Item Name, Quantity (one per line). Make sure item names match exactly (case-sensitive). No extra spaces or special characters.

Q: "The tracker is slow"

A: Close other browser tabs and refresh. The tracker handles 800+ items easily on most systems.

Q: "I can't find an item"

A: Use the search box at the top. Check if you're using the right name (in-game name). Some items might be quest-specific or event-exclusive.

🎮 Final Words

System message...

Arc Raiders is a game about risk vs reward. Every item you carry out could be lost in your next raid. This tracker helps you make informed decisions about what's worth keeping and what's worth risking.

Remember:
  • Blueprints are permanent (never lost on death)
  • Materials can always be farmed again
  • Your time is valuable - don't hoard everything!
  • The best inventory is one that lets you bring what you NEED

Good luck out there, Raider. See you Topside! 🚀
